Michael McNevin
Raised in Niles, singer songwriter Michael McNevin plays clubs and festivals across the U.S. Many of Michael's songs reflect the Huck Finn childhood he had growing up in Niles - they read like short stories, full of humor, heart, and a keen eye for Americana.
Michael has been a perrenial main stage artist at the Kerrville, Strawberry, and High Sierra Music Festivals, and he's shared hall stages with the likes of Johnny Cash, Shawn Colvin, Richie Havens, Donovan. With 5 CDs to his credit, he is a winner of the Kerrville New-folk award in TX, 5-time winner of the West Coast Songwriters Association "Song Of The Year" award, nominated "Artist Of The Year by the National Academy Of Songwriters, and a Performing Songwriter Magazine Top 12 "Artist Of The Year".
He's been featured on CBS, Fox,
NBC, ABC. Look for Michael's music and his Mudpuddle Shop in downtow Niles to
appear on the upcoming debut episode of "On The Road With Bob Phillips"
