About Us

In 1999, the City of Fremont began hosting an annual 4th of July Parade in each of the original five historic township areas that came together in 1956 to form the ‘City of Fremont’. In 2003, budget cutbacks forced the City to step aside in the funding and organization of these annual parades; but the citizens and greater Fremont area volunteers came together to keep the tradition going, and now that 2009 is here, the Warm Springs District is promising an extra special event.

We invite you to mark your calendars now to join the hosting District for 2009 – our Warm Springs District, to bring the entire area and neighboring cities together for a special fun, FREE, and family friendly event for the entire community down Warm Springs Boulevard on Saturday, July 4th 2009 at 10:00 a.m.

The Parade features marching bands, floats, equestrian units, balloons, and unique hometown entries; as well as, some surprise and out-of-town entries.

We rely on financial donations from individuals, businesses and community groups to put on this volunteer run major event each year that attracts tens of thousands of spectators along beautiful tree lined streets.

Sponsorships and contributions are currently being sought. Any remaining funds are carried over from one year to the next (or one District to the next), as the parade rotates around our town to a new site each year. The IRS paperwork for our non-profit organization tax status has just been completed so any contributions are now tax deductible as allowed by law (tax ID is 26-2202719). We have special incentive packages available for larger donors as well. If you would like to research sponsorship opportunities large or small, please contact Steve Cho & Kevin Wing at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
