The FREMONT FOURTH OF JULY PARADES are completely community funded and sponsored since 2003. We rely on donations from individuals, businesses and community groups to put on this ‘volunteer run’ major event each year that attracts tens of thousands of spectators from all over the Bay Area.
New in 2009 - This year we are implementing a program designed to make donations easy, affordable, and rewarding! For donations as little as $50, $25, or even $5, you can use the convenience and security of using your credit card or PayPal account online, get a tax deduction, and help assure this very valuable and entertaining event continues to benefit us all.
Strength in Numbers - Small donations can make a huge difference! President Obama's successful campaign shattered fund raising records by allowing Americans to donate just a few dollars, and leverage the power of networking to build a strong base of donors. We would like to mirror that same strategy by urging our supporters to make a donation of any amount they feel capable of, and spread the word to neighbors, family, friends, and co-workers to participate as well.
Benefits to All - The Fremont 4th of July Parade not only benefits the host district, or only Fremont. It is a magnate event that draws people from all over Southern Alameda County and the South Bay to celebrate our Nation's Independence; and brings families, friends and communities together.
