Fremont 4th of July Parade RETURNS
Press Release/Announcement of Parade Status:
To our great community,
We’re thrilled to share that the beloved Fremont 4th of July Parade is making its grand return in 2026 - and it’s not just any year. This summer marks the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, and Fremont will be part of this historic celebration.
As you may recall, the parade was paused last year due to unforeseen fundraising shortfalls and the illness of key volunteers. Thanks to renewed energy, community spirit, and a dedicated all-volunteer committee, we’re bringing it back - bigger, brighter, and more inclusive than ever.
This year the parade will honor our shared heritage while spotlighting Fremont’s vibrant diversity, civic pride, and local talent. We’re inviting you to be part of this momentous occasion by joining us as a sponsor or community partner.
We need your support:
Help us cover essential costs such as permits, staging, security, event logistics, and day of parade logistical needs
Support youth groups, cultural performers, and veterans organizations participating in the parade
Ensure Fremont’s place in the national spotlight during the USA 250th celebrations
Ways to Get Involved:
Become a financial sponsor
Donate in-kind services or materials
Encourage your employees or members to volunteer
Promote the parade through your networks
We believe this year’s parade will be more than just a celebration - it will be a statement of resilience, unity, and community pride. With your support, we can make it unforgettable.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Fremont. Let’s make July 4th, 2026, a day to remember.
With gratitude and excitement, we look forward to working with you on this year's event!
Best regards,
Jesse Schaa and the Fremont 4th of July Parade Committee
