The Fremont 4th of July Parade has always been a celebration of people, non-profits, businesses, organizations, and patriotic traditions; bridging communities in the Fremont and beyond. Last year we were not able to produce our regular Live Parade due to everything going on. But that didn’t stop us from reaching out to our community!
The Fremont Porch Parade is Born
2020 saw the inaugural year for the Fremont Porch Parade and it turned out to be a HUGE HIT! We weren’t sure what to expect, ordered only 100 signs and prayed the event would be well received. We were overwhelmed with the response to say the least with over 130 registrations!
And in the past year we have had an accumulative viewing of over 42,000 views for our live broadcast from all over the world on our website and Facebook.
The Fremont Porch Parade Returns
Due to the overwhelming response - and frankly the need for community members wanting to re-engage - we are bringing back this crowd favorite.
Our is again asking members of the community to celebrate together by decorating their front porches, yards, windows, store fronts, whatever to show off their patriotism with their best red, white and blue display. Salute our first responders and essential workers or go wild with your own ideas. Unleash your creativity and bring a smile to your friends and neighbors.
As soon as we have responses, a virtual map will be displayed with the locations of all our registrants. Folks can plan a walk, bike or drive around your neighborhood to see and share in the celebration.
The first 150 entries/registrants will receive a patriotic Fremont 4th Porch Parade Yard Sign.
