Register for the 2021 Porch Parade
Hosted by Fremont 4th of July Parade Committee and Powered by the People!
The Porch Parade is back and we are looking to our community to help make it happen.
STEP 1: REGISTER YOUR DISPLAY!
Registration is FREE!
Your location will be added to our Porch Parade Map.
The first 150 Porches in Fremont to register receive a Fremont 4th of July Porch Parade lawn sign.
The more registered Porches in your neighborhood, the better your chances are for exposure… and VOTES! So get your neighbors involved too!
STEP 2: DECORATE
Go patriotic, go inspirational or go wild with your own ideas. The point of decorating is to unleash your creativity and inspire hope for your friends and neighbors.
Decorate your porch, lawn, front window, or anywhere visible from the street or sidewalk.
Locations must be:
Fully decorated by 12 noon on Saturday, June 19 and remain until midnight July 4.
Appropriately decorated for a family friendly audience.
STEP 3: EXPLORE, CELEBRATE, SHARE
Check the Porch Parade Map often to see the celebration grow!
Go for a walk around your neighborhood, take pictures of the porches you find, post and tag us on social media to help share the joy! @fremont4th @fremontstrong @fremont4thporchparade
The more that take part, the more celebration there is to share, so get your friends and neighbors involved!
STEP 4: JUDGING
Displays will be judged for the following categories with prizes for winners of each category:
Residence: Patriotic Spirit, Outstanding Decorations, People’s Choice Award, Spirit of Freedom – Inspiring messages
Business: Patriotic Spirit, Outstanding Decorations, People’s Choice Award, Spirit of Freedom – Inspiring messages
Neighborhood Spirit: Best decorated neighborhood in Fremont!
